The Dictionary Series
This is the 14th of 120 paintings that will be painted on the
pages of my old high school dictionary.
The originals will be available for sale either online or
through the gallery, and limited edition prints of all 120
will also be available both here, and in the galleries.
All of the paintings measure 8" x 10 1/4" and are painted with a variety of media including oil, charcoal, acrylic, and goache.The dictionary is one that I bought in 1981 (7th grade) from
Dart Drug. I mount the pages onto a hardboard panel and get
inspired by one of the words.
In the end I hope to take the best of the series into a book.
